Muslims are basically people who follow or profess Islam, an Abrahamic religious faith. The origin of" Muslim" is from an Arabic term meaning "commander". Muslims believe the Quran, or holy text, is the word of God spoken by the Holy Prophet and his closest apostles. In essence, all Muslims are to follow the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), but there are many differences between the followers of Islam throughout the world.
There is no doubt that Islam is a religion of peace. Although there have been many conflicts between the followers of islam and Christians throughout history, the two religions have been able to remain friends with each other. This is because islam believes in treating others with fairness while Christians follow Biblical teachings that seek to treat people with kindness. Most countries in the world today to allow the practice of islam, but there is a strong resistance in the United States and United Kingdom to the practice of islam by its followers. Many countries have laws that are discriminatory against Islamic followers.
Islam also has three pillars, which are believed to be true teachings of the religion. These include: Hajj, Prayer and Pilgrimage. The first two have been pillars for the religion for centuries, while the third is believed to be an invention of Mohammed (SAW). The main purpose of the Pilgrimage is to carry out the worship of God and to acquire knowledge about his angels. This is the only way a Muslim can gain knowledge of God.
During the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, called the "moonset", a Muslim must return to Mecca at least once to perform the ritual of Hajj. Hajj is a time of dedication and purification for Muslims, and every Muslim should perform it at least once in their lifetime. During this time, they should not do any work on their body except for sleeping. They also must make sure that they fast from all food and water sources and must not touch any non-Muslim animals.
The fifth pillar of Islam is Ta'zine, which is a form of worship that was introduced by prophet Muhammad (SAW). Tawziya is a form of art that is used to show respect and honor to the dead. There are many modern artists who are inspired by the Islamic world and use Islamic elements to their works. Some of these artists are: Tariq Al Hindi, Mustafa Elahi, Ahmed Deen, Kamal Said, Hamed El Shawki and many others. These artists are trying to show the world the true colors of Islamic culture through their works.
Many muslims follow a simple lifestyle. They wear Islamic clothes and follow Islamic beliefs strictly. They are usually of good conduct and good moral character. The muslims of the Islamic world are always fighting against the western countries which try to impose their own ways on the people of the Islamic world. With the help of the Islamic books and other media, the muslims of the Islamic state can finally express themselves through their mosques and other institutions.
